Hafiz Noman Zaheer
Hafiz Noman Zaheer completed the memorization of the Qur’ān at the well-known Islamic seminary, Ashraf al-Madaris, under the auspices of Ḥakīm Akhtar (may Allah bestow His mercy upon him).
From 1998 to 2013 Hafiz Noman has served various communities as an imam, youth director, board member, consultant, project manager, director of maktab programs, Islamic school instructor and full-time hifz school director while also working in his field of aviation and continuing his studies in Qirat and various Islamic sciences.
In 2009, Hafiz Noman received his ijazahin the seven modes of recitation according to Imām Shāṭibiyy (may Allah bestow His mercy upon him).
In 2010 Hafiz Noman met Shaykh Amin Kholwadia and furthered his pursuit for more knowledge under his tutelage and learned institutional organization and administrative management under his guidance. As a student of Shaykh Amin and Darul Qasim, Hafiz Noman studied the Shaykh al-Hind program, various Intermediate program coursework and received ijāzat in riwāyah Ḥafṣ ʿan ʿAṣim by Mawlana Arif Kamal and Shaykh Mahmoud al-Akkawi (Shaykh al-Qurra’ of Lebanon). Hafiz Noman is furthering his studies in qira’āt al ‘asharah (the ten modes of Quranic recitation) with both teachers.
Currently, Hafiz Noman continues working at Darul Qasim College while directing Global Recitation where he guides the students of Qur’ān within the program as well as mentors instructors and teaches them qira’āt for ijazāh in one to ten modes of recitation.
Ghada Ayesh
Ghada Ayesh has a background in business administration and teaching with over 20 years of experience in the public and private school systems. During her years working in schools and the Muslim community, Ghada has served as board members, Director of operations, academic administrator, program coordinator, project manager, teacher and principal.
She has managed and trained instructors and administrative personnel in multiple schools, programs and organizations. As well as assisted with opening multiple private schools and assisted them to successfully attain accreditation.
Ghada has been with Darul Qasim in the Office of the Registrar since 2018 and became the full-time Registrar of Darul Qasim College in 2021. She is currently managing the enrollment and registration processes, course options and class schedules of the students and faculty, and tuition processes of Darul Qasim College. She continues to support the accreditation process for the college while also managing the role of principal of an Islamic school in Missouri.
Ghada has been on the administrative team of the Qur’ān/Hifz programs since 2020 and is currently managing the administrative and accounting processes of Global Recitation as Administrative Director.
Hafsah Math
Hafsah completed her Master’s in Teaching in 2021 with professional experience both in education and program administration. While at the University of Washington from 2019-2021, she worked as a team leader and program assistant with Jumpstart, a preschool literacy initiative under AmeriCorps. Hafsah furthered her studies in qirat and Islamic Studies by studying full-time for two years at Darul Qasim College from 2023-2025. She is currently continuing her studies with her teachers at Mihraab Foundation while working as a 4th grade teacher under Seattle Public Schools and serving the Global Recitation Program Administration.
Instructors
Arifa Shumi
Ustadha Arifa has been a Qur’ān student and teacher since 2012. She has completed the recitation of the Qur’ān in riwayah Hafs under Hafiz Noman Zaheer and also completed the studies of tajwid and an introduction to Arabic grammar with him. She has also studied with Ustadhah Rafea (QnS Academy, London) completing six levels of Qur’ān courses and furthering her studies with Ustadha Rania Habib and several other teachers. She is currently studying Illustrated Tajweed by Dr Ayman Rushi Swaid with Ustadha Zinat Hamida.
Hamzah Sayed
Hafiz Hamzah completed the memorization of the Qur’ān with Tanzeel Academy (Irving, TX) in 2016 then studied full-time at Darul Qasim College completing the Intermediate Islamic Studies program. Currently, he is reciting to Mawlana Arif in the riwayah of Hafs to receive his ijazāh insha Allah.

Kareemah Lutof
Ustadha Kareemah has been teaching Qur’an recitation and Islamic Studies for 15 years. In addition, she has been teaching Qur’an recitation under the supervision and training of Hafiz Noman Zaheer since 2020, and continues to benefit from his guidance. She is pursuing her ijazāh in Riwayah Hafs at Sanad Institution, which is led by Shaykh Ahmed Isa Al-Ma’sarawi.
Jawwad Siddiqqui
Hafiz Jawwad completed hifz with Mawlana Adnan Waseem in 2016 then began his studies in qirat (jazariyyah and ijazāh in riwayah hafs) under Mawlana Arif Kamal, completing in 2023. Thereafter he recited and received ijazāh in Hafs by Shaykh Mahmoud al-Akkawi. Currently, Hafiz Jawwad is learning qirat al-‘Asharah under Hafiz Noman Zaheer and pursuing further studies with Mawlana Arif Kamal as well.
Musabika Nabiha
Musabika completed her hifdh with Ustadha Asma A. in Brooklyn, NY. She has received instruction in qira’ah from teachers trained in Bangladesh, Egypt, Morocco, and Palestine. She is currently a full-time intermediate program student at Darul Qasim College and pursuing ijazāh in Hafs ‘an ‘Āsim from Mawlana Arif Kamal.
Muhammad Thayyil
Hafiz Muhammad has been teaching Qur’ān recitation since 2018, and teaching under the guidance of Hafiz Noman Zaheer since 2022. He completed hifz in 2011 from Tanzeel Academy under Shaykh AbdulKarim Edghouch. He studied Sakhawiyyah ( a Tajwid text) under Shaykh Okasha Kameny then completed an in-depth study of the Jazariyyah under Mawlana Arif Kamal. In 2025, he attained Ijazah in Hafs ‘An ‘Āasim under Hafiz Noman Zaheer. Currently, Hafiz Muhammad is studying Qira’at al-‘Asharah under Hafiz Noman Zaheer.
Sayeeda Hikmat
Ustadha Sayeeda has been teaching Qur’ān recitation and Islamic Studies since 2018. She completed hifz under Mawlānā Saad Saleem at IIE in 2015 then began her studies as a full-time student at Darul Qasim College completing the Intermediate and Advanced programs. While at Darul Qasim College, she received her ijazāh in hafs under Mawlana Arif in 2021 and also studied jazariyyah, shatabiyyah, and ulum al Qur’ān works under him, She also received ijazāh in hafs under Shaykh Mahmoud al-Akkawi in 2025 and is receiving an ijazāh in Qira’at al-‘ashr in April 2026 under Mawlana Arif, insha Allah.
Salman Ahmad
Hafiz Salman has been teaching Qur’ān hifz and recitation full-time and part-time since 2018. He received his ijazah in hafs from Hafiz Sajjad Gul and ijazāh in hafs from Shaykh Saad Hasnayn then further refined his qirat completing half the Qur’ān to Hafiz Noman Zaheer in Hafs. Currently he is studying qirat al-ashar with Hafiz Noman Zaheer.
Shamshad Ahmed
Hafiz Shamshad has been teaching Qur’ān recitation and memorization online since 2008. He has been collaborating, benefiting, and working with Hafiz Noman Zaheer since 2010. Currently, Hafiz Shamshad teaches the full-time hifz students online in the Global Recitation Program.
